Notice and Note is a close reading strategy. Notice and Note will help create attentive readers who look closely at a text, interpret it responsibly, and reflect on what it means in their lives. 1.Go to this website http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/explore/eclipse/ , scroll down and find your myth.
2.Listen to the myth, noting important information.
3.Draw a colorful picture that summarizes that myth.
4.Be sure to include the name of the myth and it’s culture.
Scholars are expected to have a binder for class. This binder should contain 5 dividers(Terminology, Openings, Grammar, Notes, and Returned Papers). This will help students with organization skills which will help them be better prepared and more efficient in class.
